Join a growing commercial software company!  Unanet is seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals to fill the position of Business Development Associate, reporting to the Manager of Business Development.  This role will be responsible for developing relationships with leaders in the target markets and communicating Unanet's value proposition. Responsibilities will include prospecting and identifying key executives to lay the foundation for a strong, long lasting relationship. This opportunity will require outstanding customer-facing presentation skills and a knack for analytics.

The successful candidate will have solid business discipline and strong sales skills.  This is an individual contributor position.

Responsibilities

  • Cultivate the sales pipeline by conducting numerous outbound calls daily
  • Identify, research and develop new customer opportunities
  • Develop and qualify opportunities within target markets
  • Respond to inbound leads within established timeframe
  • Attend industry networking events and trade shows to represent Unanet in the community and to generate leads
  • Understand and articulate the breadth of Unanet's software and demonstrate the software to qualified prospects
  • Participate in entry level sales program training sessions, meetings, skill building, and professional development classes
  • Capture accurate and complete information in CRM system (Salesforce.com)
  • Initial sales contact and processes, including lead generation, sales presentations and more

You have many of the following:

  • 3.0 GPA or higher with Bachelors degree from an accredited college/university
  • 1+ years of inside sales experience or equivalent is strongly preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
  • Enthusiasm, Motivation, and Drive
  • Ability to learn quickly, adapt to a new environment, and thrive under pressure
  • Expert communication skills
  • Strong computer skills
  • High level of initiative to work alone or part of a team
  • Professional presence
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, able to multi-task; detail-oriented
